The Workshop Room in Blue Prince allows you to craft various contraptions by using various item combinations or recipes. There’s only so much that you can do in the game with solving puzzles by skills. That’s why you have to make some contraptions to make your solutions run smoother and make solving puzzles quicker and more effective
Each workshop contraption has its own unique uses in the game. Some can help you solve puzzles, while others will increase the chance of drafting certain rooms. Knowing the purpose of each and how to make them provides much-needed help in your playthrough. Here is a guide on all workshop combinations, or recipes, in Blue Prince and the purpose of each contraption in the game.
All Blue Prince Workshop Item Combinations
The game features eight contraptions that you can craft with the right items. However, keep in mind that you need to draft a Workshop Room first in order to start crafting them.
Here are all the possible workshop combinations you can do in Blue Prince:

Sometimes, it can take a while for a Workshop Room to appear. If you want to increase the odds of this room appearing, here are a few tips and tricks you can follow:
- The workshop is a room featuring two doors opposite each other. This implies it won’t be visible if you open a door that borders the walls of the manor.
- You can try using Ivory Dice or draft rooms like the Library and Classroom, which allow you to reroll and hope you get a Workshop Room.
- The Wrench can be useful to increase the odds of the workshop appearing.
- The Conservatory increases the chance of rare rooms appearing.
