How To Beat The Smuggler Leader (The Silver Smugglers) in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

The Smuggler Leader will be one of your targets in the Silver Smugglers questline in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. Let’s take him out.

The Silver Smugglers are an ominous group in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. They steal silver and exchange it for weapons, such as the Teppo. The group holds a total of six known members. Similar to the assassination contracts in the previous AC titles, you must eliminate every individual in this sinister organization to complete the sidequest, including the one we will talk about today, The Smuggler Leader.

These targets will be scattered throughout the Shadows map, so finding some of them might prove difficult for you. That is why in this article, we will tell you how you can seek out and assassinate The Smuggler Leader in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.

How To Find and Kill The Smuggler Leader in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

Once you speak to Hosokawa Fujitaka and Yoshisada in the Sukyoji Temple, you can begin your journey to hunt down the Smuggler Leader. She will be your sixth target in this side quest, but interestingly enough, not the last one.

After you have started your journey to find the Smuggler Leader, your first task will be to investigate a brewery in Himeji. Tracking down this place won’t be difficult since you will have a marker that will show you the precise location. After you enter the brewery, all you have to do is read a document on the first floor, and that will reveal the location of your target.

Infiltrate The Mansion

The Smuggler Leader will be in Mai’s Mansion. It is located north of Himeji Castle. You can just select the target in the objective screen, and a blue marker will appear and guide you towards her. However, if that does not work, simply deploy your scouts to the area we just mentioned, and you should be able to find the location.

Once you find The Smuggler Leader, she or the guards won’t be aggressive towards you. In addition to that, you can confront her, but that will inevitably lead to a fight. That is why we recommend that you skip this part and just start attacking. However, if you prefer a more stealthy approach, then you can simply infiltrate the mansion, make your way towards her, and try to perform an assassination while she is talking to you.

Assassinate The Smuggler Leader

If you are on a level high enough, then you will be able to kill her with just one strike from the hidden blade. But if you are not, then you will have to engage in direct combat with her and her ronins. Even if you find yourself in the latter scenario, she would have less health because of the assassination attempt, and you can easily finish the job with your primary weapon.

Additionally, The Smuggler Leader will use a Naginata to fight, so make sure that you stay out of her range when she attacks. Other than that, it will be a typical fight where you will have to avoid damage and keep attacking her until her health hits zero. After that, you can either run away from the scene or stay behind to finish off the remaining ronins.

Rewards for Eliminating The Smuggler Leader

Once you have defeated the Smuggler Leader, the mission will be complete, and you will get the following rewards:

• Glimmering Sway (Epic Naginata)
• 2 Mastery Points
• 2200 XP
