In the First Descendant, Heat Plasma Battery is a vital resource you should farm as you will need it for Energy Activators. These Activators can be used once per Descendant and weapon to gain a boost in module capacity and are crucial for end-game builds. Also, Heat Plasma Battery is used in crafting an Ultimate Valby part to unlock that character.
How to Farm for Heat Plasma Battery
You can farm Heat Plasma Battery in the Old Mystery Infiltration Operation in The First Descendant. The easiest way to start the mission is going to the Infiltration Operation kiosk in Albion and queue for the hard mode of the mission as a Private Operation.
Since we will be leaving the mission early and will be avoiding doing the objective, its best to start the mission as private. This ensures we get the most resources each run and don’t interfere with others trying to complete the activity.
Farm Room
Early in the Old Mystery mission, there will be a target you must interact with that will spawn points in the room you must stand on to capture. However to farm efficiently, you will want to activate the target but not stand on the points. There is a three minute timer in the room that will end once you capture six different points.
Throughout this timer, there will be five elite enemies that spawn, all of which can drop the Heat Plasma Battery resource. Once the timer runs out, abandon the mission and restart it in Albion. If you choose to complete the mission for the Amorphous materials or other drops, you should make sure to capture all six points before the timer ends. Make sure to capture the last point only after the fifth elite has spawned to get maximum Heat Plasma Battery. However, completing the mission this will severely cut down the efficiency of the farm.
How to use Heat Plasma Battery in the First Descendant
In the First Descendant, you use Heat Plasma Battery in two major recipes for advanced materials. Both the Energy Activator and Ultimate Valby Stabilizer require Heat Plasma Battery to craft. Energy Activators are one of the most important resources you use to boost module capacity of weapons and Descendants.
