Upgrading your Hideout in Assassin’s Creed Shadows provides various permanent buffs and directly impacts your gameplay. 

While Assassin’s Creed Shadows introduces numerous new features, a standout among them is the Hideout, a fully customizable base-building sandbox. Although some of the previous installments had a similar hideout-like system, Assassin’s Creed Shadows takes it to the next level, functioning more like an enhanced version of AC Valhalla’s settlements.

Primarily serving as a gathering and planning hub for Naoe and Yasuke, the hideout offers much more. Beyond allowing players to showcase their creative designs, upgrading the Hideout to higher levels directly impacts the gameplay by providing various permanent boosts. How To Level Up Your Hideout in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

The Hideout in Assassin’s Creed Shadows is situated around a secluded valley near the Izumi Settsu province, offering a relaxing space for players to manage various rooms and in-game activities. 

The Hideout unlocks when you meet Tomiko after completing the prologue. It allows players to customize its interior and exterior with unique Japanese-themed designs, while also serving as a home for domesticated and wildlife animals. 

You can upgrade your Hideout level by building or upgrading various rooms. Interact with the desk in your Hiroma or open the build menu to construct or upgrade various rooms such as Stables, Forge, Kakurega, and more. You need wood, minerals, and crops as well as in-game currency (mons) to build or upgrade the rooms. You will find your Hideout level along with the progression meter upon entering build mode. Each time you build a new room or upgrade an existing one, your overall Hideout level gradually increases, capping at level 10.
