Within the First Descendant, Descendants are playable characters with specific skills and attributes. They are the focus point of any build and provide the player a variety of playstyles. Hailey is the newest Descendant releasing with Season 1: Invasion on August 29th. She is a chill-based character with long range utility and damage. Below we showcase everything you need to know about Hailey in the First Descendant.
New Descendant Hailey
Hailey is the newest Descendant coming in the First Descendant with the Season 1 Update. She is a former guerilla sniper taking our enemies from range with her anti-material Sniper Cannon. Also, she can decrease her body temperature and infect the field with chill.
Everything you need to know about Hailey’s Skills and Descriptions in the First Descendant:
- Cyro Rounds – Instantly fires a Cryo Round that automatically tracks the enemy, deals damage and inflicts ‘Cryo’ which deals Additional Damage along with Hailey’s Firearm Damage.
- Storm Snare– Fires a Freezing Beam that unleashes a Chill Vortex around you and knocks back enemies. Inflicts ‘Cryo’ on enemies that take Damage.
- Cold Fury – Hailey’s Movement Speed gradually decreases, but her Firearm and Skill Critical Hit Rate, and Firearm Penetration all increase significantly.
- Zenith – Replaces Hailey’s weapon with her Unique Weapon, anti-material Sniper Cannon. Penetration of the anti-material Sniper Cannon and Firearm ATK greatly increase and deal additional Chill skill damage. Recovers MP upon successfully attacking Weak Points and decreases the Cooldown the more Bullets you have remaining when the skill ends.
- Passive: While shooting targets at a distance, Hailey has higher Critical Damage on her weapons.
How Hailey Could Play
Based off everything we know, Hailey in The First Descendant seems like a ranged damage option that will pair well with utilizing powerful weapons. Unlike Viessa, she seems to want to use weapons in combat instead of just skill spamming. Using her skills to buff her skills and weapons as well as deal massive burst damage. However, without knowing how well she scales she could be a niche character and get minimal usage due to Viessa’s popularity and already having an ultimate version available. Also it seems that from the Dev Notes, her Transcendent Modules, a key aspect in every end-game build, won’t be released until later in the season.
When is Hailey Releasing in The First Descendant
Hailey is releasing with Season 1: Invasion on August 29th with new activities and challenges. Also, with her release is the Invasion Dungeons, Inversion Reinforcement, Season 1 Battle Pass, and a host of quality of life updates and changes.
