Let’s journey across the Shatterscarp and complete the One Last Drink quest in Avowed. This guide will tell you everything about the mission.
We will have to journey through the Scatterscrap to complete the One Last Drink side quest in Avowed. The mission has three objective markers, but despite them being on your map, it will be incredibly tricky to pinpoint the exact location the NPCs are in.
Additionally, Scatterscarp is one of the toughest regions in the entire game because of its challenging terrain. So we will have to take every step carefully if we want to navigate our way through the region. Let’s go into more detail on the One Last Drink quest in this article.
How To Complete One Last Drink Quest in Avowed
To start the quest, first, you will need to find Captain Ngunu. He will be at the Swordfish Tavern in Thirdborn. The captain will tell you about his glory days and express his desire to share one last drink with his crewmates. Naturally, in true RPG fashion, Captain Ngunu will then ask you to find three of his sailors named Ruanga, Rowha, and Tauwe. Now, we will take a look at how you can find the three NPCs in Avowed.
Where To Find Ruanga?
Let’s start with the hardest objective first. Ruanga will be quite difficult to track down compared to the other NPCs. She will be in the abandoned mines in the ancient lake bed. But there is an issue. The mines do not have a proper entrance, so we must find another way. The best way to get into the mines is a hole in the cave wall. You will need to head southwest from the nearby camp, and soon you will stumble across a cliff with some boards hanging from it.
Now, take the right from these boards, and you will come across the hole in the wall. Once you are inside, you will find a few beetles there, kill them. Remember that Ruanga will be in a hidden cavern above the left side of the entrance. When the cave is clear, go up the wooden floors at the back of the cave, and you will find a wooden barrier. You will then need to break it and climb up the ledges.
Once you go up, you will find Ruanga there. She will then refuse to come with you and tell you that Ngunu wants to kill her and her companion because she stole from him.
Where To Find Kowha?
To find our next Sailor on the list, first, go to the Shark’s Teeth. It will be located on the north of the Scatterscarps. Move past the tower near the settlement and enter the arena surrounded by wooden fences. You will find some specters, beetles, and spirits there. Defeat all of the enemies and then go to the steps back of the arena. There you will find Kowha. When you speak to him, he will tell you to kill the Dremscourged first.
The enemies will try to charge you every chance they get, so while fighting, focus on your blocking and keep a safe distance. After you are done, speak to Kowha, and if he hesitates, you can tell him that Tauwe has accepted your offer already.
Where To Find Tauwe?
Finding Tauwe will be quite easy compared to the other guys. However, he will be quite far from the other two sailors. You will find Tauwe in the Sand Sea Oasis, which is located northeast of Thirdborn. He will be in an open area across the lake. So, you won’t miss him even if you try. Additionally, if you meet Tauwe first, then he will tell you the location of his other two crewmates.
Thankfully, He won’t be as stubborn as Ruanga or Kowha, so you won’t need to convince him. Simply talk to him, and he will be quite happy to reunite with his old mates. But don’t leave the area right away.
The Sapphire Eye will be in that lake. It is an important part of the Totem of Revelations. If you want to collect it, then dive in the lake and swim towards the left, and you will find it. Lastly, take the three sailors back to the tavern to complete the One Last Drink quest in Avowed.
