Assassin’s Creed Shadows is nearing its March 20 launch date, and fans are wondering whether the game will feature legacy outfits from previous titles in the series. Prepare to be disappointed, as Ubisoft has confirmed that there won’t be any legacy outfits in Assassin’s Creed Shadows at launch. In most Assassin’s Creed games, Ubisoft tends to provide outfits that were once worn by past protagonists. For instance, outfits designed to resemble the ones worn by Ezio and Altair were available in Assassin’s Creed Mirage. So, based on this, fans were pretty hopeful that the latest entry in the series, Assassin’s Creed Shadows, would also feature legacy outfits for Naoe and Yasuke. However, this doesn’t seem to be the case.

According to popular YouTuber JorRaptor, who spoke to the game’s developers, AC Shadows will skip legacy outfits at launch. The developers also provided a reason for this shift from tradition. They explained that the game will feature a new physics system for clothes, which ultimately made integrating legacy outfits much more complicated.

Will Legacy Outfits Be Added in the Future?

In that same interview with JorRaptor, the developers revealed that there is a possibility that legacy outfits could eventually make their way into the game after it launches. However, this remains unconfirmed, and we’ll simply have to wait and see whether Ubisoft adds the outfits later on. Also, it will be interesting to see whether Yasuke gets any legacy outfits.
