How To Get to the Highest Point in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

You get the Happy Place achievement by reaching the highest point in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. Here’s how you can do it.

Climbing to the highest point is an AC title now a tradition for most Assassin’s Creed players. Assassin’s Creed Shadows even acknowledges you by providing an achievement after reaching the highest point in the game. However, reaching that location can be quite difficult because of the dense foliage in most areas. In other words, you cannot directly head straight to the highest point in the game.

To help you reach that place and get the Happy Place achievement, here’s a simple guide on how to get to the highest point in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.

Highest Point in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

To reach the highest point in Assassin’s Creed Shadows, you must ascend Mount Hakkyo in the southeastern section of the Yamato province. The easiest method to reach the summit is mostly on horseback and then on foot near the summit.

You can employ the Pathfinder Tool which can be activated on horseback. This creates a convenient pathway to follow on the road to your destination. To use the Pathfinder Tool, here’s what you need to do:

• Place a marker on the viewpoint on Mount Hakkyo.
• Get on your horse.
• Activate the Pathfinder Tool.

The tool may sometimes take you through a weird pathway that might seem further away from the location. However, that is the game showing you the shortest route through all the obstacles in your way. Keep following the Pathfinder tool and you can soon find yourself at the top of Mount Hakkyo.

At the top of the mountain, you can loot a chest near the viewpoint containing an epic rarity Strong Kanabo of Deflection, and then sync with the viewpoint. Yasuke or Naoe also comment on being at the top of the world. After the sync, you get the Happy Place achievement and trophy for getting to the highest point in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
