Wada Koretake is one of the Onryo/Shinbakufu in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. He is also known as The Wounded, and there’s a genuine reason behind his name. He gets this codename to serve the Japanese “Templar Order” because he has one ear. Koretake is a Samurai who serves Oda Nobunaga, the Shogun, and has pledged to get rid of the Ikko Ikki resistance in Izumi Settsu.

Assassinating The Wounded is a part of the main questline. The mission in question is called Heads Will Roll and is part of the Rebuilding chapter in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. If you are confused about the ways of finding and defeating Wada Koretake, you have come to the right place. Putting down this boss will reward you with the Death Whisperer Legendary Kusarigama.

A long line of quests brings you to The Wounded. It all can be traced back to The Fatherless Monk quest. After that, players have to complete The Killing Field, and then Stolen Faith. Lastly, the Heads Will Roll mission becomes available, where the primary task is to assassinate Wada Koretake, The Wounded.

When The Wounded mission unlocks, finding your target becomes easy. He is in the Amagasaki Castle. So, your primary objective is to prove to him that he cannot hide from justice. Since the mission is marked on the map, you cannot get lost. You must first reunite with your allies to start the mission effectively and reach The Wounded.

Before Naoe makes her way to the target, she must first take out the snipers at the gates. You can easily spot and mark them using your Observation. Once these enemies are out of the way, you are free to take out Wada Koretake. He is out in the Amagasaki Castle’s courtyard. Again, if you are confused about the target, simply use your Observation to mark him.

You can either defeat him face-to-face or use the stalking zones nearby, whistling him over and using a quick Assassination to put Wada Koretake out of business. Now, Naoe can cross one more name off her revenge list.
