The game has several castles for you to raid, but some may seem trickier than others due to varying objectives. The Koriyama castle, found in Koriyama in the Yamato region of AC Shadows, is one of the harder castles in the game. This stronghold assigns you the objective of hunting four different Samurai Daisho as targets, making your life a little harder. As insurmountable as that may seem as a hurdle, the rewards in the end are well your effort.

Where Is Koriyama Castle in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

As stated earlier, the Koriyama Castle stronghold is located in Koriyama in the Yamato region of Assassin’s Creed Shadows. This stronghold is in the northwestern area of Yamato, directly northeast of the Lost Hills fast travel point. The Kofukuji Pagoda is another nearby fast-travel point that you can use to approach the castle.

Koriyama Castle Samurai Daisho Locations in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

Koriyama Castle has 4 Samurai Daisho that roam and patrol the castle vicinity. We recommend taking the higher ground and surveying the area to mark enemies before making your approach. Tyr and tag the Samurai Daisho, after which they shall be marked with a helmet icon floating above their head. The Samurai Daisho locations are as given below: 

• Samurai Daisho #1: The first Samurai Daisho patrols a large courtyard on the east end of the castle.
• Samurai Daisho #2: Inside the northwestern tower in the castle. This building is heavily guarded, so lure him outside if possible. 
• Samurai Daisho #3: Inside the northwestern tower in the castle. This building is heavily guarded, so lure him outside if possible. 
• Samurai Daisho #4: The final Samurai Daisho patrols the southern building in the castle. He is flanked by a guard, so be careful. 

Koriyama Castle Rewards in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

Kura Keys

Koriyama Castle has two Kura Keys, which you can find as given below: 

• First Key: The first key is in the Retainer’s Quarters on the northern end of the castle. Stick to the castle perimeter towards the north, and you will find this building. 
• Second Key: This key is towards the southwestern end of the castle. Approach the castle from the south and turn west right before crossing the moat leading to the castle. Stick to the path, and you will find the key inside a building along this path. 

Legendary Chest Location and Rewards

The Koriyama Castle Legendary Chest resides on the top floor of the castle’s Northwestern Tower. This is the same tower where you found the two Samurai Daisho earlier. Defeat all four Samurai Daisho, and the Legendary Chest will spawn on the top floor of the Northwestern Tower. This chest will grant you the following rewards:

• 3,000 XP
• 4 Mastery Points
• Legendary Onna-musha Headband – Legendary Headgear
