If you were amongst those who ordered the Premium Edition of Obsidian Entertainment’s latest foray in the RPG landscape, you might already be playing Avowed thanks to the Early Access specific to that edition. However, unlocking the game early isn’t the only benefit of buying the pricier version.
Premium Edition owners can also access two unique skin packs for their companions in-game. In this guide, you will find specific instructions on how you can access these Premium Edition outfits in Avowed.
How To Access Premium Edition Outfits in Avowed for Companions?
When you start the game, the outfits or skins do not just appear in your inventory. In fact, you’ll need to follow the steps mentioned below to gain access to them.
- You need to complete the Prologue section of the game and reach the Mainland.
- Once on the mainland, go towards the first main quest marker beyond the harbor, and you should see a large Adra stone jutting out of the ground.
- Interact with this stone, and it will allow you to set up a party camp.
- Inside the party camp, you’ll find a tent with a bedroll. Interact with the bedroll.
- The menu that opens will allow you to equip the Obsidian or Eora skins on your available companions.
However, the Premium Edition also grants two unique armor sets for the player character. And these can also be unlocked at the Party Camp.
Unlocking Premium Edition Unique Armor Sets
Beyond the Premium Edition Outfits in Avowed, you can access and equip the Obsidian Order Cuirass and the Engwithan Cuirass by following the method below.
- While at the party camp, go to the chest (Party Stash) and interact with it.
- On the right-hand side of the screen are the items currently inside the stash. Here, you’ll find both the Premium Edition armor sets.
- Click on them to transfer them to your inventory and close the stash screen.
- Open the Inventory Menu and click on one of the armors to equip it.
