Blue Prince: How To Unlock Security Footage

Here is a guide on how you can unlock and browse through the Security Footage found in the Security Room Terminal in Blue Prince.

The Security Room Terminal allows you to watch footage of various cutscenes in the game. Additionally, there are also recordings that go way back before the game’s setting. It’s a good way to check for various hints or clues you might have missed. You can also learn more about the backstory behind the manor if you take the time and watch the older footage.

To unlock the Security Room Terminal and watch some footage, you will need a secret code. There are various hints in the game that you need to decode in order to get the password. Here is a guide on how you can do it.

How to Unlock Security Footage in Blue Prince

There are two areas you need to explore in order to get the secret code to unlock the Security Room Terminal and watch some footage:

• Attic: Climbing the stairs, glance to your right and step around the suitcases to see a sketch of several boxes. One of the boxes is labeled with the letter “O”.
• Safehouse: You can access this area by riding a boat in the Reservoir. In there, you will see a sketch with a box labeled “A” and the words “delete it” written along the edge.

Security Room Terminal Solution

If you look closely, the letters are actually the first letter of the rooms shown on the Security Room Monitor. Starting from the topmost left screen to the bottom right part, the letters form the following:

• Spare Room
• Walk-in Closet
• Archives
• Nook
• Storeroom
• Office
• Nursery
• Gallery
• Hallway
• Secutiry
• Showroom

Taking the first letter of each room, you should figure out that “SWANSONGHSS” is the Security Room Terminal secret code. You can then input this code into the terminal and access all the unlocked cutscenes and old CCTV recordings.

What Recordings Can You Find in the Security Room Terminal in Blue Prince?

The data inside the terminal contains footage from 1987 and 1993. There is some corrupted footage, but there are some that is still intact. You can view these recordings by interacting with the terminal.

The 1987 recordings contain some information before the game’s setting took place. If you enjoy learning about the game’s lore, you will enjoy browsing these recordings.

The 1993 section is where you can rewatch some of the cutscenes you unlocked. This includes the Alazara Prophecies you encountered in the Rumpus Room.
