Here is a guide on how you can solve the Utility Closet Puzzle in Blue Prince and unlock the Gemstone Cavern.
The Gemstone Cavern is a special area in Blue Prince that you can unlock by solving the Utility Closet puzzle. After unlocking this area, you will start receiving two gems every in-game day as a reward. This can be very handy, as you can use these gems to unlock various rooms in the manor.
However, unlocking this area may not be easy, as you will need to do some puzzle solving. To help you out, here is a guide on how you can unlock the Gemstone Cave in Blue Prince.

How To Solve Utility Closet Puzzle To Unlock Gemstone Cavern in Blue Prince
To solve the Utility Closet puzzle, you need the color of each V.A.C. Indicator light to be in the following order: Gray, Blue, Green, White, Red, and Purple. The process can be a bit confusing, as changing one indicator color will also change the color of other indicators.
To make things easier, here is a step-by-step guide on how you can solve the puzzle:
- Press each indicator to turn them all to the color green.
- Press the 6th indicator to make it blue.
- Press the 1st indicator to make it red.
- Press the 6th indicator to make it gray, and indicator 5 turns blue.
- Press each button that turns blue until you have four blue lights on the right with a gray light in the second position. The 1st indicator will also turn purple.
- Press the 2nd indicator to turn it red.
- Press the 3rd indicator to turn it gray, and the 2nd indicator turns purple.
- Press each button to make them red, then press the next blue indicator to make it purple. Do the process until you have five purple lights.
- Press the 6th indicator, which makes all 6 lights turn purple.
- Press the 4th indicator to make it white.
- Press the 5th indicator to make it blue.
- Press the 6th indicator to make it red.
- Press the 5th indicator to make it gray, and the 6th indicator turns purple.
- Press the 5th indicator again to make it red.
- Press the 1st indicator to make it gray, and then indicator 2 turns blue.
- Press the 3rd indicator to make it green.

Once you have done the process, you should have all the colors in order. Afterward, the wall behind the fusebox will open and reveal a yellow lever. All you have to do now is interact with the lever and flip it to unlock the Gemstone Cave in Blue Prince.
