The key with how this monster set builds stacks is you can give an enemy stacks every 0.5 seconds, but you gain stacks every 1 second. Jerall Mountains Warchief is especially good against tanky targets out-healing their incoming damage. While it’s a much more niche use case, Jerall is very effective against any builds that rely on heavy healing. Against players running sets like Mara’s Balm, a 35% healing reduction is undeniably massive. Paired with sources of Major and Minor Defile, you can still cripple key targets.
Player vs. Environment (PvE) – Healing reduction doesn’t really see any PvE play. You should never really run this monster set in PvE content.
Player vs. Player (PvP) – This is a great set for pressuring key targets, especially tanky ones. This set is reactive, responding to PvP metas that rely on heavy healing. There’s no reason to run this set if people aren’t building tanky with big heals.
