In ESO (The Elder Scrolls Online), the Shadow Queen’s Cowl is a mythic from the Gold Road Chapter geared toward solo thieving.
Shadow Queen’s Cowl lets you see guards and witnesses through walls when you’re crouched, giving you extra vision when thieving. It also lets you stun them whenever you successfully pickpocket them and gives a massive detection radius reduction for distracted targets. While this is helpful in the overland, this also makes heists much easier. This mythic is especially cool because we haven’t seen a ton of useful mythics in recent content.
While not everyone thieves, this mythic freshens that content, which is exciting.
How to Use The Shadow Queen’s Cowl
This is not a PvE or PvP content mythic as mentioned earlier. While you could theoretically wear it, the only use case for this mythic is when you’re actively thieving. In other words, if you have a dedicated thieving character, equipping this mythic gives you extra vision to make your heists and routes that much more stealthy.
Player vs. Environment (PvE) – This mythic still doesn’t offer anything for dungeons and trials, it only applies to guards and witnesses.
Player vs. Player (PvP) – This mythic still doesn’t offer anything for PvP content.
