How To Complete the Path of Wisdom (Hidden Trail) in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

Here is a guide on how to complete the Path of Wisdom, part of the Hidden Trail quests in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.

The hidden trail side quests are specifically available for Naoe and can only be completed by her. 10 such side quests are spread out across the entire map. Out of all the hidden trails, this may just be one of the most scenic ones.

Let us look at how we can embark on this journey and complete the Path of Wisdom hidden trail in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.

How To Complete the Path of Wisdom in Assassin’s Creed Shadows?

Set a waypoint on the quest and fast-travel to the closest point available. Make your way towards the quest. Once there, you will see a lantern to the side of a leaning tree. The tree will have some wooden ladder handles sticking out, enabling you to scale it up. Run across the entire stretch of the tree till you reach the edge. Jump and grapple hook your way to the land in front of you. You are now officially at Mount Uchinakao.

Run up the flight of stairs till you reach the third lantern on your path. From there, climb your way up the mountain. Occasionally, lanterns will appear on your path as a mode of guidance. Also, follow the yellow trail on your climb, as this is exactly the direction you are required to follow to reach up.

Enter the Cave

Once you reach the second lantern, move forward up the slope till you reach a wooden plank ledge. Jump forward, grapple hook to the tree in the middle, and swing to the other side towards the spiky mouth of the cave. There are lanterns inside, which will prove to be the source of light for your expenditure.

Run towards the second lantern in the cave by jumping on the protruding rocky poles. From there, climb up the mountain following the yellow trail and make your way out of the cave from the top. Now, exit the cave, and from the left, continue to climb again. At the top, you will see another leaning tree with the same wooden ladder handles as before, which you need to climb.

Reach the End of the Trail

From the edge of the tree, jump across using the grapple and swing towards the other side. From there, run forward to the wooden plank and perform the action of swinging with the hook again. This time, however, jump to the next grapple hook and swing forward to the next area.

Run and skip your way across till you reach a pond. Swim across, and on the other side, you will see a chest box. Approach it and loot the box. You will be awarded a piece of Tamakichi’s gear.
