In Assassin’s Creed Shadows, if you’re sticking to mostly Naoe, chances are you’ve gotten pretty comfortable with the kusarigama. It is a chain and sickle weapon that allows Naoe to juggle crowds, overcoming her weaknesses in combat. The Featherstorm kusarigama is among the best kusarigama and is one weapon you absolutely need in your arsenal.
The Featherstorm is a legendary kusarigama that comes with the impressive stats you’d expect from a weapon of this sort. The weapon has moderate to high stats for Weapon DPS, Posture DPS, and Ability Damage. To make fights even easier, this legendary kusarigama also comes with bonus critical damage, allowing you to land your fair share of crits and dispose of enemies with ease.
The Featherstorm also comes with an engraving that instantly charges your Posture attacks, positively affecting the pace of your combat and rightfully earning the “Featherstorm” name. It is the great equalizer for players using Naoe but struggling against mobs.

Where To Find Featherstorm Kusarigama in AC Shadows
The Featherstorm legendary kusarigama is inside a legendary chest in Kashiwabara Fortress in the Omi region of AC Shadows. This fortress is on the mid-eastern end of the Omi Region, deep in the center of the Ibu Highlands. The fortress has a few landmarks in its vicinity, notably Nomura Village to its southwest and the Kawachi Kaza-ana Cave directly to the south. There are no viewpoints nearby, with the closest being the Odani Destroyed Tenshu all the way up north.
We recommend using a boat to land near Nomura Village and then taking the main road heading northeast to reach Kashiwabara Fortress. Circle around and enter the fortress from its northern end (with the viewpoint). Drop down below into the courtyard and head to the east corner to find the legendary chest tucked away in a corner. Loot the chest to obtain the Featherstorm legendary kusarigama weapon.
