To get the Adamantine Shield in Baldur’s Gate 3, craft it in Adamantine Forge, located in Grymforge, during Act 2. You must find Mithral Ore and Shield Mould and defeat Grym first.
The following list explains all the steps to get and craft Adamantine Shield in BG3:
- Arrive at Grymforge during Act 1
- Find Shield Mould inside the skeleton in the dormitory of Ancient Forge, top floor (X -560 Y: 410)
- Gather Mithral Ore from one of two available ore veins.
- Find legendary Adamantine Forge.
- Insert Mithral ore into the Crucible.
- Insert Shield Mould to Mould Chamber
- Pull the forge lever to lower the platform.
- Release Lava valve
- The construct guarding the forge will appear, and you need to defeat him.
- The best strategy is to debuff Grym by luring him into lava, then to the crucible and smack with a crucible piston by pulling the lever.
