On the topic of health bars, let’s talk about everything related to it in the fight. Boss has three different stages, transitioning from one stage to another. You can get the boss staggered which can cancel the boss’s attacks. You can use it very efficiently, so take notes. In the first stage, Lucifer has an attack that makes him swing his arms at close range. The second stage starts as soon as you take away three health bars from the boss. This stage provides the boss with an additional attack. This attack includes rocks that either fall from the sky or create a structure on the ground. These structures and rocks need to be destroyed before they deal damage to players. The third stage starts after you take away seven heal bars. This stage adds a new attack. This attack creates a circle around a random player that requires five people to stand in it, so the player doesn’t receive the damage.

Main Attacks

This deadly boss has three different attacks and each one has two phases. The first phase is casting the second one is damage. During the casting phase, three elites will spawn and players will need to do certain actions to weaken the attack during the damage phase. If you ignore these actions, you will receive unblockable, undodgeable, and sometimes life-threatening damage. The boss additionally gains a buff that reduces to receive damage by a certain percentage and lasts the whole fight.

1. Frozen Hate

The first main attack I will talk about is frozen hate. This attack requires you to break Shackles on the hands of Lucifer to Grant players safe zones during the damage phase. Breaking one shackle is enough if players know what they’re doing. Each shackle destroyed also reduces Boss buff efficiency. If you broke the shackle on the left during the casting phase, you will have safe spots on the left during the damage phase. You get the idea of what happens in other scenarios.

2. Eternal Sorrow

The second attack is eternal sorrow. This attack is the most merciful if you don’t prevent it. The attack requires you to break all the tiers that appear around the edges. Each tier broken reduces boss buff efficiency. If you break all the tiers before the damage phase, the boss will attack three times with safe spots alternating between the top, middle, and bottom. The safe spot can’t repeat the same position during the attack. If you didn’t break all the tiers, you can go to the bottom section and it will hurt you only once. The damage received is so minuscule for most players that you will prefer to deal with elites that stack top and ignore tear completely.

3. Last Betrayal

The third attack is the last betrayal. This attack during the casting phase spawns three spectral elites which have to be killed to get safe spots during the damage phase. This spectral elite replaces the usual three elites that Spawn during the casting phase. Each spectral killed reduces boss buff efficiency. During the damage phase, the eyes of the Lucifer will light up and you have to go to the area where the eyes didn’t light up. You can consider this attack the most beneficial to interrupt by transitioning into the next boss stage. Unlike the usual elites, these Elites will disappear during boss stagger. This makes you deal much more damage compared to other situations.

How to Defeat Lucifer in 33 Immortal

Make sure you keep your camera zoomed out as it is highly important, so you need to be able to see the arena at all times. Lucifer has three phases that you can tell by the music change or more simply his heart which goes from Frozen to thought to exposed. Any of his three main attacks can be canceled if a phase transition is triggered. This means if you are close to this next phase, you can ignore the mechanic for that round. This is dependent on your overall team DPS. The phase one and two are triggered every three health bars, while the third phase lasts for four health bars. What changes between the phases? Well simply put he summons more ads.

Phase three is an absolute cluster of them, making it difficult to focus on Lucifer. Another mechanic is introduced in Phase 3 as we. This hasn’t put a marker on a random Immortal and enough players surround the marked one they take heavy damage. This is not too big of a deal most of the time as you should be attacking with other players anyway. What to do about the ads? For the most part, I would ignore them and only focus on taking them out. Whenever your team is forced to disperse during any of his three main attacks or if you’re lucky, they will stack up next to Lucifer. Now, you can cleave both the mobs and the boss at the same time. However, for phase three, he simply summons too many mobs. It’s best to focus only on the witches as they spam annoying AOE attacks. This will make the fight overall much more of a pain.

Placement

When he is not casting an attack, your melee fighter should be in the front constantly dealing damage. Your Melee is to be in the upper middle with the archers being in the middle of the Arena. You want your archers here in the middle as they can attract aggro from the mobs while the rest of your team is dealing damage to Lucifer. When he is casting the Last Betrayal, everyone needs to focus on the traitors. Depending on how many Immortals you have, you can either split up or focus on one at a time to keep your cold strike trained. During this phase, you should also try to take out any additional mobs that he summoned. While casting Eternal Sorrow you should evenly split to both sides of the Arena. So, if you have 20 Immortals Still Standing, have 10 go to the left and the other 10 go to the right. You can group up as well maybe two to three per tier that way can keep your Coast right. This is also a good time to clear out some additional mobs as well.

Dodging Attacks

For Frozen Hate, I recommend your melee attacker stay in its front and keep attacking. Trying to split up to take out both of them is extremely difficult. It’s also important to keep your Co strike active while attacking the shackles. So, if they appear out of reach, attack Lucifer in the heart to keep the co strike up.  Then return your focus to the cycle until it’s destroyed. Run to the right side of the arena that has no cycle, so you should be safe. For this phase, you need to try to avoid the ads as much as possible. This is because if you try to take out a single shackle, it’s pretty much game over.

The overall strategy is to just keep up your attacks as a team whenever you don’t have a mechanic to deal with to do the most damage. Whenever you have to disperse due to Last Betrayal or Eternal Sorrow, try to split evenly amongst the Immortals. Always attack together to keep up your Co strike. If you do not cooperate at all times.
