1) Enhancing Dragon Elemental Attack

Dragon is one of the strongest elemental damage types in Monster Hunter Wilds. The Dragon Attack Level 3 on the weapon gives a massive boost to Dragon Elemental Attack. This further boosts the already high elemental damage of the Inspired Gawain Dual Blades. 

With complimenting boosts that retain its sharpness and manage Demon and Archdemon Mode, you will be able to deal a massive amount of Dragon damage, often good enough to even outshine monsters who resist this kind.

2) Reduce Sharpness Loss

One of the primary drawbacks of the Dual Blades is that it loses sharpness very easily, owing to a very high number of hits. The Razor Sharp skill negates 50% of sharpness loss, which means more uptime with maximum damage multipliers.

3) Inflict Wounds Easily and Deal Critical Damage

The combination of Flayer and Weakness Exploit skills, both at their maximum level 5, is what makes this Dual Blades build the absolute best in Monster Hunter Wilds. With Flayer, you can inflict wounds more easily. Pair that with Weakness Exploit, you get a 50% affinity boost while hitting these wounds.

Since the Dual Blades are extremely fast, this pair-up can inflict wounds and slash them to deal massive damage. This can often topple monsters back-to-back before they get a chance to stand up properly.

This is further amplified by the Guardian Arkveld β 4-set bonus, which recovers a significant chunk of your health when you destroy wounds on large monsters. Every element of this build complements each other to create the perfect balance of damage and survivability.

4) Maximum Stamina Recovery

The most significant damage of Dual Blades comes from the Demon Mode. This consumes stamina at an astounding rate, but fills up a special Demon Gauge. When full, it puts you into the Archdemon mode, which offers a halfway between normal attacks and Demon Mode.

With the Stamina Recover skill at level 3, you will be able to recover stamina 50% faster. Next, pair this with the Focus skill, which reduces gauge charge times and increases its speed by 15%. However, the Inspired Ywains filled the Demon Gauge in 8 less strikes, which means you can regulate Demon Mode and Archdemon Mode much better with these. How To Use This Best Dual Blades Build in Monster Hunter Wilds

Dual Blades are easy to pick up but hard to master in Monster Hunter Wilds. This is partly because of the new Demon Boost Mode mechanic. However, a bigger reason is the new maximum combo that switches between Demon and Archdemon modes. 

Here is the gameplay loop that you should be following with this best Dual Blades build in Monster Hunter Wilds:

• Use your default Ghillie Mantle to start with a Sneak Attack on the monster. This should do around 300 damage in two hits instantly.
• Swap out the Ghillie Mantle and wear the Corrupt Mantle, then start slashing away in Demon Mode. 
• Target the tail and hindlegs of the monsters. The Dual Blades’ superior mobility should make this relatively easy.
• Your Demon Gauge should fill up within a five seconds owing to the Focus Skill. Once this happens, keep switching up Demon Mode and Archdemon Mode attacks to have a 100% uptime on them.
• As soon as you see wounds on the monster, use Focus Mode and Focus Strike to activate the Weakness Exploit skill and deal massive damage.
• Your Decimator II skill will also restore health when you damage wounds on large monsters.
• If the enemy is toppled, you are ready to use the maximum combo.
• Use the following combos: Demon Dance 1 > Demon Flurry 1 > Demon Dance 2 > Demon Flurry 2 > Demon Dance 3. This should do around 1400 damage to a neutral enemy.
• Use healing items and traps when necessary. 

Using Other Elemental Dual Blades

This Monster Hunter Dual Blades build can also be used for other elemental weapons. The build is designed in such a way that the weapon and its decorations are responsibly for only two aspects – dragon elemental damage and sharpness. You could easily switch it with another elemental weapon and use the respective decorations to have a build for a different element instead. However, you will lose the innate Focus Skill level 3, which is default to only the Inspired Gawain Dual Blades in Monster Hunter Wilds.
