Hulkenberg in Metaphor ReFantazio has a variety of Archetypes to pick from, but we narrow that down to the five best suited for her.
Metaphor ReFantazio boasts a memorable cast of characters that are sure to leave a lasting impression on the player long after they’ve rolled the credits. These characters flaunt unique looks and personalities, which also reflect in the various Archetypes available. Each character has a set of Archetypes best suited to them, and Hulkenberg is no different.
In this guide, we shall go over the five best Archetypes that you can assign to Hulkenberg in Metaphor ReFantazio.
1) The Knight
Hulkenberg is introduced with the Knight Archetype in a special cutscene. The Knight complements Hulkenberg’s tank nature and turns her into a menace on the battlefield. The Knight’s Proclamation, in particular, allows Hulkenberg to draw enemy aggression and protects her party from strong attacks.
2) The Paladin
The Paladin pushes Hulkenberg laterally from the role of a tank to the support and backbone of the party. You unlock this Archetype by reaching Bond Rank 7 with Hulkenburg. The Paladin possesses the Holy Knight’s Proclamation skill that draws enemy aggression should you choose to use it to your advantage. We instead recommend using the Protect Guard, which creates a barrier and protects an ally. Another skill, Holy Knight’s Works, can remove debuffs.
3) The Elemental Master
The Elemental Master Archetype puts Hulkenberg on the frontline and makes her an attacking force. The Archetype, unlocked by reaching Bond Rank 8 with Gallica and Wizard Rank 20, is equipped with skills that boost damage. The Archetype is capable of using Ice, Fire, Electric and Wind attacks, which makes it highly versatile and a jack-of-all-trades.
4) The Dark Knight
The Dark Knight takes the defensive skills of the Knight and enhances it with several attack skills. The Archetype is unlocked by reaching Bond Rank 8 with Hulkenberg. The Archetype’s Heavy and Mad Rush attacks let you cleave through enemies, while the Magic Counter brings you a 15 percent chance to repel magic attacks.
5) The Royal Knight
The Royal Knight is the pinnacle of the Knight lineage of Archetypes. It brings in the best of all the Knight abilities without any of the pitfalls. You unlock this Archetype by reaching Bond Rank 8 with Hulkenberg, alongside Paladin Rank 20. The Royal Knight comes with the Holy Knight’s Proclamation that draws enemy aggression, the Pierce Surge that boosts your pierce attacks by 30 percent, and many more skills.
