Looking to alter your Dragon Ball Sparking Zero experience? Try out these five best mods for some creative and fresh changes.
It has only been a week since Dragon Ball Sparking Zero’s release, and it is already one of the highlights in the modding community. While the game has lived up to the legacy of its predecessor, there are always instances where individuals will feel incomplete. This is where the creative minds come into play with mods. Like every other title that enters the PC realm, Sparking Zero has also been treated with various mods catering to different needs.
Keeping that in mind, this article will list the five best mods in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero, that will either help make the combat more fun or provide a cosmetic enhancement.
NOTE: This article is subjective and solely reflects the writer’s opinion. The ranking is random and does not follow any particular order.
1. Pinnacle of Power (PoP)
Having that ‘aura’ around your character is exactly what Super Saiyan brawls are all about. Unfortunately, not every character in the Dragon Ball universe has access to tap into their aura and flaunt it during the fight. Well, Sora101Ven has found a way to let you keep an aura around all the characters that you select during a battle. The Pinnacle of Power mod is purely cosmetic, but it makes the fights look more exciting.
2. Character Selection Screen Revamped
Ever since the game dropped, the playerbase has complained about low-resolution character images on the character screen. Lilcino reworked the art for all 182 characters on the roster on the character selection screen. Now, you can access the images in HD using this mod. This neither affects gameplay nor cosmetics but enhances your user experience.
3. Dragon Ball Sparking Zero Performance Enhancer
Get ready to unlock more FPS and improve overall gameplay performance with this mod, created by ChemBoy1. Compared to others on the list, Dragon Ball Sparking Zero Performance Enhancer is more on the technical side. Not all gamers out there care about getting more than 60 FPS. But for those who do, this works perfectly. You might also want to remove the Bloom. The mod enables Temporal Upscaling (TAAU) to enhance game performance and disables Chromatic Aberration.
4. Character HP x2
If you ever wished that some of your battles in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero lasted longer, Character HP x2, out of all other mods, is something you might want to check out. As the name suggests, applying this mod will give double the health to almost all the characters. This is not available for those who already have 50,000 HP because the game doesn’t allow it yet. But for the rest of them, you may want to relive some of the local battles. The mod was created by Gantz79.
5. Let’s Fight Somewhere Else (LFSE)
Some players looked at the background behind the Menu and thought that it would make for a good sparring area. Sora101Ven then created this mod. It allows you to enter codes for maps that are not originally in the game. Even maps that appear on loading screens, cutscenes, and Menus, which are not accessible during battles, can now be used thanks to this mod.
