The Best Staffs in Oblivion Remastered

If you play as a mage, then you are probably looking for a good staff. Additionally, staffs also have extra effects which get activated when you use them to cast spells. Here are some of the best staffs in Oblivion Remastered, which any self-respecting mage should be using.
Greater Staff of Ruin

- Weight: 10
- Charge: 1600
- Uses: 14
- Enchantment: Disintegrate Weapon on Target – 75 pts
This enchanted staff has the added effect of disintegrating enemy weapons whenever you target them for a spell. This is especially useful for a mage since many enemies will likely want to approach close to you and attack. Removing their weapon’s efficacy will decrease their overall combat capability.
Greater Staff of Lightning

- Weight: 10
- Charge: 3200
- Uses: 20
- Enchantment: Shock Damage on Target – 80 pts, 1s
Shock damage is one of the best forms of damage in Oblivion Remastered, owing to many enemies in the game being weak to Shock. Thus, the staff that deals additional Shock damage on every use is sure to be one of the best weapons to use. If you do not have access to the Greater Staff of Lightning, you can consider using the Lesser Staff of Lightning or the Mage’s Staff of Shock at lower levels.
Staff of Conflagration

- Weight: 10
- Charge: 3200
- Uses: 31
- Enchantment:
- Fire Damage on Target – 20pts, 15ft, 2s
- Weakness to Fire on Target – 100% for 2s
- Light on Target – 5pts, 5ft. 10s
Although the Staff of Conflagration might do a smaller amount of fire damage than others, it has the added effect of making the target weak to fire. This extra effect lets you use your other fire spells to deal massive damage, without any extra work. The final enchantment lets you see them better, for future attacks you make against them.
Mage’s Staff of Paralysis

- Weight: 10
- Charge: 4000
- Uses: 40
- Enchantment: Paralyze on Target
You don’t have a lot of options available if you want to inflict paralysis on your foes. Paralysis is also just a good status in general (especially so for mages). Once you paralyze your opponent, they are helpless to your future attacks. This stave also has a lot of uses, so you can go for sometime without recharging it.
Apotheosis

- Weight: 10
- Charge: 3000
- Uses: 12
- Enchantment:
- Fire Damage on Target – 33 pts
- Frost Damage on Target – 33 pts
- Shock Damage on Target – 33 pts
As seen from the stats above, this stat’s defining trait is its ability to inflict multi-element damage on your enemies. Moreover, the combined damage is quite high, and chances are, you will will be hitting some weakness with its enchantment. So, these extra hits and elements make Apotheosis a good pick for mages.
