EA Sports released the much-awaited EAFC 25 on September 27, 2024. Here’s a look at the five biggest changes it comes with.
EA Sports has brought many new changes to the latest edition of EAFC. The game has seen a massive overhaul from last year with the inclusion of AI-powered player decisions, new game modes, fresh promos, and much more. EA Sports has also made some changes to pre-existing mechanics, like evolutions and player cards.
5 Biggest Changes in EAFC 25
On the one hand, the developers have added new game-changing mechanics to EAFC 25. On the other, they’ve removed certain mechanics, including the 4-3-2-1 formation with center-forwards. They have also removed the full-wing back position.
Here’s an overview of the five biggest changes in EAFC 25:
1. FC IQ
One of the biggest changes to EAFC this year has been the introduction of FC IQ. This has replaced the old mechanics of work rates. FC IQ assigns players specific roles and directs their focus toward those roles. The FC IQ mechanic lets gamers tactically customize their team and play on the pitch. This also makes the game feel more realistic and accurate.
2. EAFC 25 Career Mode
The career mode in EAFC 25 has seen an overhaul. It has been updated with women’s football as well. The mechanics of the career mode will also be updated by the EA developers through live updates for the game. The biggest change to career mode has been the introduction of Live Start Points. Gamers can now play the whole campaign of popular teams or key moments of the season.
3. Pro Clubs
The Pro Clubs in EAFC 25 are slightly different. Player customizations have improved in EAFC 25, and Pro Clubs enjoy a new reputation system. With a higher reputation, clubs now have a higher chance of getting rewarded and a bigger budget. Relegation has also returned to EAFC 25, making Pro Clubs with friends even more exciting.
4. Evolution and Player Cards
Major changes have come to evolution and player card management. Seven times more players will be available for evolutions, and card customization is also an option. Players can now store duplicates for completing SBCs. The usage and storage of player cards have become much more efficient overall.
5. Rush
The final change to EAFC 25 has been the introduction of a new game mode Rush. It is a 5v5 game mode designed for fast-paced action. Players can only use 79 or below 79-rated players. The developers have implemented Rush in other game modes, like Ultimate Team, Pro Clubs, and more. Rush is a fun mode to try if players want to farm some XP.
