Rats were added to the game with the My First Pet Stuff pack along with three other pets. These tiny little creatures with long tails are interesting to have as pets. You can enjoy watching their mischievous behaviors as they wander outside their cages and run around the house. That said, Rats are not very engaging they don’t have many interaction options.

2) Hamster

The Sims 4 added cute Hamsters with the My First Pet Stuff pack. These charming little rodents can be carried around the house by your Sims. Watching them playing and running on the hamster wheel is also entertaining.

Hamsters require less maintenance compared to other pets. Interactions include petting, feeding, and cleaning their habitat. These will increase your bond with the pet and make them happy as well. You can choose between several breeds of Hamsters, and each has unique personality traits.

Build a habitat for them in your household and watch how they interact with objects inside the cage, especially the hedgehog wheels. You can make these cute rodents happy by petting, cuddling, cleaning their cage, or even carrying them in your hands.

The Miniature Bubalus is a unique and interesting pet that came with the My First Pet Stuff pack. It is a small water buffalo that adds an exotic charm to any household. Lastly, we have Llamas. Yes, The Sims 4 added Llamas with the Cottage Living expansion pack. Llamas serve as a kind of mascot for The Sims and are referenced throughout the franchise, so fans were thrilled about it.

Llamas protect your farm and other animals from the cunning foxes. You can also get expensive Llama wool from them, which you can sell for Simoleons or use in cross-stitching. Since happy Llamas produce better quality wool, try to keep them happy by brushing, cleaning, feeding, and interacting with them. You can also change their appearance, dress them up, and make them participate in contests at the fair.
