Infinity Nikki, by Infold Games, is a free-to-play RPG. It takes place in the cozy open world of Miraland; the game perfectly blends the dress-up elements within the open world mechanism. The various menu bars and options will be confusing at the start, especially for beginners.
If you have lost yourself in the mesmerizing lands of Miraland and are not sure about where to start or how to get things done, we’ve got you covered. This beginner’s guide gives you some ideas to get a better understanding of how things work in Infinity Nikki.
1) Be Sure To Activate Every Warp Spire
Although the Miraland captivates the players with its stunning design and visuals, traversing across the open world on foot is tedious. That’s where the RPG’s fast travel option comes in. Nikki can teleport to various regions of Miraland through the Warp Spires.
However, you need to activate the Warp Spires to get access to the teleport option. So always be on the lookout for these spires when you visit new areas and make sure to activate them when you find one. You can easily identify these structures from their pinkish glow.
2) Gather All Collectibles Along Your Journey
As you explore the Miraland, you will find a number of little collectible items on your way, such as flowers, fishes, bugs, and animal furs. Make sure to collect everything you find along the way and keep it in your inventory. You may not need them at the moment, but keeping them helps you in the long run.
These collectibles are used to craft or upgrade the outfits, and some may even be required to hand over to NPCs during quests. Moreover, this helps you to increase your Insight, which is used to unlock nodes and expand your skill tree in the Heart of Infinity menu.
3) Stay Alert for Whimstars
Whimstars are one of the important collectibles in Infinity Nikki and they are used for crafting and making various outfits. They are required to proceed with several quests, which require special abilities only unlocked with the Whimstars.
Tracking these Whimstars is a little challenging, which is why the developers gave Momo, your cat-like companion, the superpower of sensing them. The furry companion alerts you to nearby Whimstars by making the Momo icon on the top left corner of the screen sparkle and wiggle.
4) Obtain the Whimcycle As Soon as Possible
It would be so relaxing to explore the pleasing environment of Miraland while walking, running, jumping, and even riding. Wait, did I say riding? Yes, Infinity lets you traverse the stunning landscapes by riding a bicycle, known as Whimcycle in Infinity Nikki. Riding through the alluring world of Miraland not only allows you to cover distance quickly but also gives you a truly unique experience.
Once you cleared the prologue, you can start exploring the map to find the Whimcycle Rental shops, which allow you to rent a Whimcycle for 200 Blings. You can find a Rental shop quickly at the south of Memorial Mountains near Breezy Meadow.
5) Experiment With Different Outfits Without Hesitation
As we know, Infinity Nikki is a ‘Dress-Up’ open-world game, which has a lot of scope for costume customization. The game provides various outfits with hundreds of customization options. You can even upgrade or evolve the outfits to get various color schemes. Several outfits also have special abilities such as Floating, Bug Catching, Animal Grooming, and Fishing, which allow you to perform unique actions.
Trying out the various outfits is an essential aspect of Infinity Nikki. Some of these are free to unlock, and some are locked behind the game’s gacha system. You can choose your outfits and costumes based on your own preferences, as each is suitable for several purposes, such as creating a sense of satisfaction, unlocking various abilities, or competing effectively in fashion battles.
