In this guide, we shall go over how to get the Rock Bag in The Forest to increase your odds of survival in the game.
With scarce resources and cannibals constantly looming about, surviving in The Forest is a frightening uphill battle. Your inventory is tight, and picking and choosing the right battles is a matter of life and death. The rock is an item essential for survival, holding offensive capabilities while also serving crafting purposes. As you hoard the item for its various uses, you will realize that you can only hold up to five rocks unless you get the Rock Bag.
The Rock Bag lets you break the threshold and carry greater quantities of rocks, allowing you to manage your resources better. In this guide, we shall go over how to get the Rock Bag in The Forest.
How To Get the Rock Bag
Well, there’s no specific way to GET the rock bag in The Forest. Instead, you have to craft it by obtaining the necessary ingredients. To make the Rock Bag, you will need 1x Boar Skin, 3x Rope, and 1x Cloth.
Where To Find Rope
You find Rope in villages near the cannibal huts, deep inside the many caves, near lakeside boats, and on the Yacht. If you’ve explored a moderate amount, you should have a sufficient number of these in your inventory already. If you don’t, simply head to any of the locations we’ve mentioned to find them. Alternatively, you can craft a Rope by combining 7x Cloth.
Where To Find Cloth
Cloth, too, is a resource found upon exploring the game’s map. Your best bet to find Cloth is to explore the many villages in the game. As you make your way through the villages and past cannibal huts, stay on the lookout for pikes with skeletons on them. You can break these pikes and loot them for Cloth. You can also obtain the item by looting chests in caves.
Where To Find Boar Skin
To find Boar skin, you need to hunt Boars. They’re scattered across the map and can be difficult to find. In our case, we found their spawn rate to be fairly moderate on the northwest end of the map near the huts and the small creek from the ocean. Follow along the creek to find a boar and skin it. You can use your spear to kill the beast.
Once you have all the items in place, open your inventory to see the items you have available. Place the Rope, the Cloth, and the Boar Skin on the crafting map by pressing RMB, and press RMB again to combine these ingredients and make the Rock Bag.
