Everything you need to know about the new anti-air zones in Palworld’s Feybreak Island, and how you can efficiently counter them.
Much like the Pals in Palworld, every other region in the game has its own gimmick and perils that you need to overcome. The newly added content, i.e., Feybreak Island, is level-gated as an end-game zone. Even if you’re prepared to brute-force your way through the area’s bosses, you won’t be able to do so until you figure out a way to reach the island itself. Feybreak Island is outfitted with anti-air (anti-aircraft) countermeasures. As such, entering the area using a flying Pal is nigh impossible unless you figure out a way to disable the countermeasures.
Thankfully, there are other ways to enter Feybreak Island and even some clever means to disable the anti-air defenses. Here’s everything you need to know about how to counter the anti-air zones in Palworld, Feybreak Island.
How To Reach Feybreak Island in Palworld
Flying is arguably the easiest and fastest way of traveling to and fro between islands in Palworld—at least, that was the case before the Feybreak update. Unlike other islands where taking to the skies meant minimizing the risk of taking damage, Feybreak Island punishes aerial travel. The biggest threat you face while entering Feybreak’s airspace is the anti-air missiles, which are capable of “one-shotting” you and your Pal.
Feybreak itself is home to some of the most dangerous Pals. Most of the Pals in Feybreak Island are above Level 50. Furthermore, the new island is also home to some of the most challenging Alpha bosses.
And with the addition of the anti-air missiles, Feybreak does seem quite intimidating. If you try to infiltrate the island using a flying Pal, you will get an Entering Anti-Air Zone warning. If you fail to heed the warning, your Pal will be shot down using the anti-air missiles, incapacitating and killing both your character and the Pal. Thankfully, you can enter Feybreak by simply swimming to the island. Make sure you’re carrying a Water-type Pal with you to help you get to Feybreak’s shores as fast as possible.
How To Disable Anti-Air Countermeasures in Palworld
Once you reach Feybreak, you will want to disable the anti-air countermeasures. That way, you can once again use your flying Pals to get around the new map more efficiently. To disable the anti-air missiles, you first need to locate them. To do so, first, mount your flying Pal, albeit briefly. As soon as you see the red indicators pointing towards an anti-air missile, keep note of the location and get off your flying Pal.
Once you reach the anti-air missile’s location, you will encounter members of the Feybreak Warriors organization. Do note that the Feybreak Warriors, especially the Feybreak Berserkers, are incredibly challenging enemies.
Before you head to Feybreak Island, make sure you’re at least Level 50. Once you take down the Feybreak Warriors, simply head to the anti-air missile’s base and interact with the module there to disable it. With the anti-air missiles disabled, you can freely fly around the map of Feybreak Island.
