Cody “Clix” has made a controversial statement saying that it is much easier to be an NBA player as compared to being a pro-Fortnite player.
Cody “Clix,” a Twitch streamer and professional Fortnite player, recently made a bold statement on his channel. He stated that participating in Fortnite takes more skill than playing in the NBA. Cody has an uncanny ability to make shocking comparisons. In the past, he compared streaming to other labor-intensive industries such as construction, claiming that “hard work is hard work.” On March 4, 2024, he made a statement saying:
“Hard work is hard work at the end of the day. Like, construction is f**king hard f**king work if you are working your a** off. Streaming is hard work if you are actually working hard, you know what I am saying?”
Cody has once again sparked controversy by making a shocking comparison between professional Fortnite players and basketball players. During his most recent stream, the streamer shared his belief that NBA players do not experience the same level of challenge as professional Fortnite players. He said:
“Becoming a pro in Fortnite is so much harder than becoming an NBA player. Now let me speak. You can become born and instantly be seven foot. You put in same amount of work, you’re in the NBA just like that because you have height advantage, you get what I’m saying? Now, let me tell you about Fortnite. No, no, let me tell you guys about Fortnite. Do you know how hard it is to have the reaction time? To have all the fingers to be spamming the perfect buttons at the perfect time, at the perfect second. To rotate a dead side zone while zoned. By the way, while you need 90 surge, you’re 90 below on surge, while rotating. Fully moving zone man, no fu**ing maths in it. Coming out as an outcome of winning the game. Who could do that? Who could do that? All I need to do in the NBA is hit a fu**ing 3. You get what I’m saying here?”
Clix is one of the most well-known individuals in the Fortnite community, known for his content creation as well as his professional playing abilities. For those unaware, he is currently linked with and co-owner of the North American esports organization XSET.
