You will quickly notice just how fast Galian Beast truly is in this boss fight. He will move swiftly and with great agility around the arena, and he will use that speed to come at you with various kicks and leap attacks.
He can also shoot flame bursts; this attack is named Bestial Flare, and it can track you, so be careful with the dodging. The boss can also perform a Somersault Kick, which will cover a good range in front of him, so don’t stand too close to him and always hit and move.
Additionally, look out for his Savage Beast attack. This is a grab attack that he can perform. If he traps any of the party members with this attack, switch immediately and start attacking. But don’t think he can only attack from close range; if you are not careful enough, you will get hit by his Flying Debris.
However, his list of various attacks does not end there. He also has a stun attack in his arsenal. If he tries to hit Primal Roar, run in the opposite direction and maintain distance until the move is complete. The only thing you can do in this phase is make sure that he is always under pressure. Keep attacking him while avoiding his many close-range attacks. Once he is staggered, deplete his health as much as you can. When his health reaches around sixty percent, the next phase will begin.
Phase 2
After the cutscene, you will officially enter the second and last phase of the battle. If you thought that Galian Beast was quick in the last phase, we have a surprise for you. Now he is faster and more accurate and has new moves.
The Chaos Glaves ability grants him these new powers and debuffs. Additionally, the range of his attacks will increase as well, so now you will have to readjust your positioning accordingly. However, don’t try to attack as soon as you dodge his melee attacks because he can do it back-to-back and multiple times.
He will use everything in the arena to attack you, including the walls. You will soon notice Galian Beast jumping and sticking to the walls. Stay on alert when he does this because this is the marking of his Wall Dive move. Shortly after, he will spring off the wall and attack you with a Claw Sweep.

Galian Beast’s ultimate attack is Chaos Flare. It is a combination of some of his other attacks, and it’s deadly. The boss will first jump and attach to a wall, then shoot a burst of flames down from his mouth in the arena. After that, he will smash into it with his Wall Dive. This will create a huge AoE attack that will cover most of the arena with fire tentacles.
Stay out of its reach as much as you can. He does not have any other new attacks after this. He is fast, so we will have to be fast as well. Keep applying pressure until the stagger gauge is full and then unleash all your attacks, limit breaks, and synergy abilities included. Eventually, the Galian Beast’s health will reach zero.
