Looking to catch some Orcas in Fisch? The new Orca Migration Event has just dropped, and it’s pretty exciting. Every hour, you’ll get a chance to hunt three different types of these massive creatures. After the huge success of the Atlantis update, the developers have added this cool new feature that lets you track and catch Orcas using special bait.
The best part? You don’t need to worry about specific weather or time conditions to catch these magnificent creatures. Just grab your boat, get some Shark Head bait, and wait for the server notification to pop up. Whether you’re a new player or a seasoned fisher, this event is worth checking out.
Getting Started With the Orca Migration
The event kicks off every hour with a simple message: “Orcas Migration has Begun.” When you see this, head over to the Arch POI (at X: 1100 Y: 133 Z: -1,200). You’ll spot a group of Orcas swimming together in a line. Just follow them with your boat and start fishing near them. If you’ve got a fish radar, even better – it’ll help you figure out exactly where to cast your line.
Keep in mind that the Orcas follow a straight path from the Arch POI to the other end of the map. You’ll want to keep pace with them while fishing, as staying in one spot won’t do you much good. The event continues until the Orcas reach their destination, so you’ve got plenty of time to try your luck.
Different Orcas You Can Catch
There are three types of Orcas swimming around during these events, and each one is special in its own way. First up are the regular Orcas, with their classic black-and-white look that everyone recognizes. These are Legendary-type creatures, and while they might be the basic version, they’re still pretty impressive to catch.
Then we’ve got the Albine Orcas, which are a sight to behold with their unique white coloring. These are also Legendary-type creatures, but they only show up during special Albine Orca migrations. If you see these beautiful creatures, you’ll definitely want to try catching one for your collection.
The real prize, though, is the Ancient Orca. These rare beauties are classified as Secret-type creatures and have some distinctive cuts along their bodies that make them stand out. They’re the hardest to find since they only appear during Ancient Orca migrations, but they’re totally worth the wait.
What You Need To Catch Them
Here’s where things get simple – you just need Shark Head bait. It doesn’t matter which type of Orca you’re after; this bait works for all of them. This makes preparation much easier since you only need to stock up on one type of bait before the event starts.
Unlike other fishing activities in the game where you need to check the weather, time of day, or season, Orca hunting is much more straightforward. The only timing you need to worry about is catching the hourly event. This makes it super accessible for everyone, regardless of when you like to play.
Tips for Successful Orca Hunting
