Twitch streamer HasanAbi denied Ethan Klein’s antisemitism allegations and said he does not condone any hatred towards Jewish people.
YouTuber Ethan Klein posted a “content nuke” video targeting Twitch streamer Hasan “HasanAbi” Piker on February 2, 2025. In the video, Klein listed a series of allegations against Hasan and called the streamer an antisemite. Hasan addressed these allegations during a livestream on February 4, 2025, and defended his stance.
Ethan, who is Jewish, supports the Jewish state of Israel in its ongoing conflict with Palestine. HasanAbi supports Palestine and has differing political views from Ethan. This led to a clash between the two creators in 2024. HasanAbi calls Israel an “apartheid” state, but he claims he does not hold any antisemitic views.
Hasan pointed out during a livestream that there is a rise in antisemitism. However, he claimed that he does not support antisemitism. Klein alleged that Hasan was responsible for a rise in antisemitism, which the Twitch streamer denied.
HasanAbi Talks About Ethan Klein’s Allegations
After Ethan Klein’s accusations surfaced, HasanAbi chose to ignore them. On February 4, 2025, the Twitch streamer said he changed his mind and asked Klein to debate him. He said in a new YouTube video titled “Debate Me Ethan Klein”:
“Ethan Klein. If you want to have a conversation with me, I am available. I can talk to you about any number of political disagreements that we have. Except, this time, I am not going to be f*cking nice to you. I am not going to be treating you with kiddy gloves.”
Hasan went over Ethan’s allegations and acknowledged that the YouTuber received a lot of antisemitic hate. However, Hasan denied any responsibility and claimed that he actively advocated against antisemitic sentiments. The political commentator calls Israel an “apartheid state,” but he clarified that his grievances with the country’s regime are because of the government and not its people.
US Congress Member Ritchie Torres Accused Hasan Of Antisemitism
Ethan Klein is not the first person to call HasanAbi an antisemite. On October 31, 2024, Congress member Ritchie Torres sent a Congressional letter accusing Hasan and Twitch’s owner Amazon of promoting antisemitism.

Torres called out Hasan’s alleged views on “Orthodox” Jews and said:
“A Congressional letter has been sent to the leadership of both Amazon and Twitch to sound the alarm about the amplification of antisemitism on Twitch. Hasan Piker, who has described Orthodox Jews as “inbred” and a Jewish man as a “bloodthirsty pig,” is the antisemitic voice of a systemically antisemitic platform led by Dan Clancy. The time has come to hold Hasan Piker and Dan Clancy accountable.”
Hasan defended his stance and said he did not condone antisemitism. Twitch issued an apology after investigations found the streaming platform blocking new users from Israel.
