The Civilization game series has been famous among fans for the charming opportunity it provides to create a civilization from the ground up. Civilization 7 is the latest addition to the series—promising a lot of warfare and diplomacy as you play along.

However, a civilization requires a plethora of resources to function and advance. In this article, we’ll discuss the resources this stellar strategy game has in its arsenal.

The Types of Resources in Civilization 7

Resources in Civilization 7 are commodities required for sustenance, expansion, production, and many more. There are five categories of Resources in Civilization 7—Bonus, City, Empire, Treasure, and Factory. As you progress through the game i.e., go forward in time from the Antiquity Age to the Modern Age, the usage pattern of some of the resources shifts. For example, Cotton becomes a Factory Resource once you are in the Modern Age.
