Players can equip different skins and emotes. Emotes in Sea of Thieves are vanity items used to express different emotions. There are so many types of emotes in the game, but some players might be having a hard time performing this action.

How To Emote in Sea of Thieves
As emotes are vanity items, they are equipped with vanity chests. A vanity chest is a storage item that can be found on ships mostly. Players can select the obtained emotes from this chest and equip them on their Pirate Wheel of Emotions or Emote Radial. An Emote Radial is a wheel menu that keeps all the equipped emotes in Sea of Thieves. In order to choose an emote from this wheel, follow these steps:
- Press Z on PC or down on D-pad on console to open the Pirate Wheel of Emotions.
- Use mouse or D-pad to select the desired emote.
- Release the key to use the selected emote.
- Press F on PC or X button on console to navigate through emote pages.

How To Get Emotes in Sea of Thieves
There are many ways to get emotes in Sea of Thieves. Players can buy them from the Pirate Emporium, the in-game store. However, they need to spend the Ancient Coins to buy from the store. Another source is unlocking seasonal rewards and purchasing the Plunder Pass to ease the process.
Moreover, players can earn emotes from various Twitch Drops. There are some costumes with a costume-exclusive emote that can be used when that specific costume is equipped. The game also has some emote bundles that only offer a set of emotes and can be purchased from the Pirate Emporium.
