Pokemon GO Season of Might and Mastery is packed with action, powerful Pokemon, and some thrilling opportunities to test your skills. Whether you love catching, battling, or collecting, there’s something for everyone. Starting from March 4, 2025, this season will come to an end on June 3, 2025.

Let’s break down five reasons why this season is going to be amazing.

1) Meet the Wushu Pokemon, Kubfu

The Fighting-type Pokemon Kubfu is making its way into Pokemon GO during the Season of Might and Mastery. With enough dedication, it can evolve into Urshifu, choosing either the Single Strike or Rapid Strike Style. And if you’re up for a challenge, keep an eye out for Dynamax Raikou, Entei, and Suicune in Max Battles. Plus, Gigantamax Machamp is joining the fray.

2) Special Research

From March 5 to June 3, you’ll have access to Might and Mastery’s Special Research. As you progress, you’ll even get the chance to encounter a Dynamax Kubfu. And for those who want even more, there’s a second paid Special Research available for extra encounters and rewards.

3) Community Days, Power Up Ticket, and Themed Stickers

The best days of any season are the Community Days. Here are the dates you need to mark on your calendar:

  • March 8 – March Community Day
  • March 22 – March Community Day Classic
  • April 27 – April Community Day
  • May 11 – May Community Day
  • May 24 – May Community Day Classic

The Power Up Ticket will be there to help you level up faster. Trainers who purchase this will get handy bonuses, including extra Candy XL from Raid Battles and Max Battles. You can also grab Themed Stickers from PokeStops, Gifts, or the in-game shop.

4) GO Battle League: Might and Mastery

A fresh GO Battle League season kicks off on March 4, 2025. Your rank will reset, and you’ll have the chance to earn exciting encounters, including Mienfoo, Vullaby, Morpeko, and even Pikachu Libre, if you reach the highest tiers. It’s a golden opportunity to rack up Stardust, complete extra battles, and grab a battle-themed Timed Research reward: a Mustard-inspired hat. Might and Mastery has a lineup of new Cups:

  • Willpower Cup: Only Fighting-, Psychic-, and Dark-type Pokemon under 1,500 CP can enter (Gardevoir won’t be allowed).
  • Scroll Cup: Water-, Fighting-, and Dark-types take center stage. Primarina won’t be allowed in, though.
  • Spring Cup: Focuses on Water-, Grass-, and Fairy-types, with some restrictions.
  • Retro Cup: Dark-, Steel-, and Fairy-types are off-limits.
  • Catch Cup: Only Pokemon caught during the Might and Mastery Season can compete.

With these Cups, there’s always a fresh way to test your battle skills and team-building strategies.
