Monster Hunter Wilds brings back the cute Palico companion from previous games in the series, and they retain their support moves. However, this time around, you won’t need to equip special moves for your Palico before setting out on a hunt.
Instead, you can simply unlock these moves as you progress through the game. In this guide, we’ll take a look at the many Palico support moves in Monster Hunter Wilds for you to unlock. We’ll also explain how you can unlock each of the moves.
What Are Palico Support Moves in Monster Hunter Wilds?
Palico support moves are basically special actions that your Palico companion is capable of performing during the heat of battle. Each of these moves provides specific benefits to you when out on hunts. So, understanding each of the moves available, along with ways of unlocking them, is crucial. The sooner you can unlock the moves, the better you’ll fare against the especially challenging monsters in the game. Also, you can upgrade each of the support moves to their even more powerful versions.
Another important thing to keep in mind is that even after unlocking the moves, you won’t be able to manually trigger any of them. Instead, your Palico will decide the best time to unleash one of these supportive actions.
