REPO’s service station houses a number of upgrades and weapons that help you kill monsters in the game. Weapons such as a sword, an inflatable hammer, a tranquilizer gun, and a frying pan. Out of all these weapons, today we learn about the frying pan and why you might want to choose it during your playthroughs.

Obtaining the Frying Pan in REPO

Unlocking the frying pan in REPO requires you to complete the first level and unlock the supermarket. The supermarket lets you buy upgrades and items in between levels. The cost of the Frying Pan is $24K-$30K. This is the in-game currency that you obtain through scavenging and extracting treasures and trinkets in levels. Also, in-game lore suggests that cast iron is a luxury, hence the frying pan is ridiculously expensive.

How To Use the Frying Pan

The frying pan is a weapon with moderate damage and will not hurt your friends if you swing at them accidentally. Once you obtain the frying pan from the Supermarket, use it with the gravity gun to swing at enemies. The frying pan almost hits any enemy that is right in front of you as compared to other weapons. The wide surface area lets you swing it blindly at enemies. It also slightly shoves your friends if they are hit. The pan also has a chance to stun certain enemies.

The flair of the frying pan not only includes durability but also a funny sound when it hits the enemy. For comedic purposes, this weapon is one that can make things a bit lighthearted when you creep through the dark abandoned remnants in REPO.

Limitations of the Frying Pan

The Frying Pan is good for monsters with a small health pool. However, the weapon’s recharge time of around 12-15 minutes and its inability to deal proper damage to high-hp enemies limit the weapon greatly.

In conclusion, the Frying Pan is a great weapon to have fun with, but if you want to push through later levels, it is not really a viable weapon, as defeating high-hp monsters later will take a considerable amount of time.
