Finding the most annoying characters in Marvel Rivals is pretty subjective. We all play different roles in different matches and have varied experiences. So, keeping in mind our collective experience, we have prepared a short list of heroes that will make you want to quit a match. It is important to note that this list is relevant only up until Season 1.5 in Marvel Rivals.

The Most Annoying Marvel Rivals Characters

As we have already mentioned, the list we are about to present to you here is subject to the writer’s opinions. Moreover, there can be many characters on an “annoying” list but our objective was to bring you the top five. The short-listed names go as follows, and are not ranked in any manner:

  • Captain America
  • Spider-Man
  • Wolverine
  • Mister Fantastic
  • Loki

This sums up the list of the most annoying characters in Marvel Rivals as of Season 1.5. However, those who wish to know more about what these heroes did to deserve a spot here, can continue reading below for further explanation.

1. Captain America

Out of all Vanguards, Captain America has to be one of the most annoying faces to see in a match. It takes skill to use him in a match because he is not an Anchor tank. Meaning you wouldn’t always find him on the front line. Instead, he is often found in the enemy backline, dealing with their healers. Although Cap might not land a lot of kills, his primary objective is to keep the pressure on enemy healers. He diverts the attention of the enemy team by jumping the backline. He brings a new dilemma to their table: to focus on Cap’s team or to defend the healers getting beat up by Captain America himself.

2. Spider-Man

Need I say more? People have started to understand why JJJ considers Spider-Man to be a “menace” to society. Although he is one of the most difficult characters to play in Marvel Rivals, Spidey can also be pretty annoying to deal with if a player knows how to play him. His abilities and cooldown are perfectly crafted to make him a nuisance to the enemy team’s Strategists and Duelists. Don’t get me wrong. There are counters to Spider-Man in the game. However, implementing them can be pretty difficult. He will swing by, kill your healers, and go out without the frontline ever getting to know about him.

3. Wolverine

It’s not only the Strategists that are always under stress. When Vanguards are not worrying about the enemy Vanguards and Duelists, they have to look out for one specific Duelist. And that is Wolverine. Logan has a reputation for taking on foes way bigger than him. His Ability Kit makes him the perfect anti-tank DPS in the game. Since his damage output is based on the percentage of the health pool of the enemy, he is supposed to target all Vanguards. He can stalk your frontline and take them away for a trip with his Feral Leap. Later, as it turns out, your Vanguard couldn’t survive that trip with Wolverine. It is safe to say that he is every tank’s worst nightmare because of his annoying abilities and survivability.

4. Mister Fantastic

If you are a Duelist or a Vanguard who has faced a good Mister Fantastic, you are already familiar with my plight. The leader of Marvel’s First Family has immense survivability thanks to his Ability kit and how his cooldowns are stacked. Players who main Mister Fantastic are well-versed with his cooldowns and are nearly impossible to take down, especially if they have Invisible Woman on their team (for that additional Team-up protective shield). Reed Richards’ survivability makes him an off-tank while his damage is as good as a Duelist, making him a fierce foe in most situations.

5. Loki

There is no other way I could imagine the Ability Kit of the Trickster God. Loki is the perfect blend of mischief, deception, and annoyance. If you think you are the perfect diver and can execute enemy healers without trouble, Loki will make you think again. First and foremost, he mostly always comes with 2 additional clones, outnumbering his opponents. Moreover, he can disappear infinitely and annoy you as much as he wants by summoning his clones at random locations. If that wasn’t enough, he can also swap between his clones and you will never truly know whether you have taken down the right Loki until you get a KO Prompt or kill confirmation on the top right corner of the screen. His Ultimate allows him to copy another player (and their Ultimate) for over 10 seconds which makes him a valuable asset for his own team, and a nuisance for the enemies.
