As this is a norm in farm-life simulators, Fields of Mistria has many farm animals for the players to adopt. Unlike the new pet feature that includes a Cat or Dog, farm animals play a different yet important role.
From Hens to Horses, you can adopt multiple animals to make your farm more lively. Here’s what you need to know about these farm animals and how you can get them.
Where To Buy Farm Animals in Fields of Mistria?
To buy these animals in Fields of Mistria, you can go to Hayden’s Barn shop in Sweetwater Farm. From his shop, you can buy various animals to keep your farm brimming with life. Additionally, these animals can help you harvest various materials if you take professional care; always remember to play with them regularly, but if you’re busy exploring the mines, you can let your Animal Sprite Statue handle it.
However, before buying any animal, visit the Carpenter Shop on The Eastern Road to buy a Coop or Barn. Without them, you cannot buy the animals since they won’t have a place to live in. Small animals will go in the Coop and large live in the Barn.

After placing the Coop and Barn on your farm, you can now purchase the animals of your choice; here are all of them:
- Chickens – Small Animal
- Ducks – Small Animal
- Capybaras – Small Animal
- Rabbits – Small Animal
- Horses – Large Animal
- Alpacas – Large Animal
- Cow – Large Animal
- Sheep – Large Animal
The cost of the animal depends on their color.
Feeding Animals
Once the animals are in your Barn and Coop, it is your responsibility to keep them alive by maintaining their diet. You can feed small animals Grass Seed and Small Animal Feed by either your hands or by placing them in the Coop.
For the large animals, you can use Hay and Large Animal Feed to keep them healthy. You can go near the animals and interact with them to easily feed them.
