Difficulty Scaling in REPO Explained

The difficulty in REPO scales as you reach higher levels, much like many other games. Naturally, the higher levels require you to collect more money for taxes and feature more Extraction Points to clear. While you start with a single Extraction Point at the first level, it gradually increases in the subsequent levels, starting with two in Level 2.

Instead of simply increasing enemy numbers at higher levels, REPO introduces a stronger version of the existing monster alongside new monster types. Moreover, the environments and layouts become more dangerous and complex. With different enemy placements, the corridors become maze-like, requiring players to navigate carefully to locate valuables and safe spots while escaping from the various monsters.

The higher levels require you to rely more on tools and weapons, as well as proper team coordination. As you progress, the weapons and gear also become more expensive at the Service Station.
