This skill is leveled up by repairing any equipment you have, including armors and weapons. You use a repair hammer to fix these items. The more items you repair, the faster your skill will level up.

Increasing this skill to level 100 gives you the useful benefit of repair hammers not getting used up. There are different methods to level up this skill, some of which include exploits and bugs.

Peryite’s Shrine

Yes, this location can be exploited so that you can level up the Armorer Skill. Since the NPCs present in the area are invincible, you can keep attacking them without consequence (other than the chance to rack up a massive criminal record).

Repair your weapons using repair hammers, and you will start seeing an increase in this skill.

Disintegrate Armor

You can use Disintegrate Armor to break your equipped armor and then cast a custom spell on yourself. Setting Fortify Armorer to raise your Armorer Skill to level 100 for a brief moment will let you cast the spell.

Using this level 100 skill, you can now use just one repair hammer, and repair your previously broken armor. This method lets you raise your skill without any hassle of hitting or getting hit by enemies.

While adventuring in Cyrodiil, you will loot weapons and armor from many enemies or chests. However, chances are you will not be planning to use the majority of these items, and instead look to sell them off for a quick buck.

However, it is a smart tactic to repair these pieces of equipment before selling them. This gives you two-sided benefits. Firstly, your Armorer Skill improves, and secondly, you get a higher selling value for your items since they are of a higher quality.
