Getting Started in Vesteria Roblox
As soon as you launch the game, pick a save slot and create your character. You won’t be able to change your appearance later unless you visit a specific NPC in Nilgarf, so choose wisely for now. Once you’re in the game:
- Open Settings (G) and switch to Dark Mode
- Turn on Hide Other Players’ Damage and Hide XP Effects if you’re on a low-end device
- Change your pickup key to W if you want to loot automatically (optional but useful early)
Then, walk up the hill to begin your first quest with Scruff.
Scruff’s Quest and Early Combat
Scruff asks you to gather chicken eggs and cabbages. Equip your starting Stick weapon from your inventory (Q), hit chickens, then whack cabbages to gather what you need. Press F to pick up items.
After completing the quest:
- Talk to Scruff again for part two: deliver a letter to the mayor
- Spend your first stat points (E):

Grind in Mushroom Forest until level 7:
- Kill Shrooms and Baby Shrooms
- Complete side quests
- Fight Giant Shrooms when they spawn for bonus loot and tokens
- Collect the Mushroom Hat through a bouncing mushroom parkour near the treehouse
Once you hit level 7, go past the guard and enter Nilgarf.
Nilgarf and Class Selection
At level 10, you can pick your faction:

- Invite party members using Z menu
- Final wave boss gives large XP burst
- Collect and sell Golden Mushrooms for silver
- Level 20–25: Nilgarf Sewers
- Packed with mobs, fast leveling
- Start a party for shared XP
- Collect lantern for dark areas
- Fight Giants for extra tokens and loot
- Level 25–30: Forsaken Isle
- Take boat from Port Fidelio (costs 100 silver)
- Kill mobs to fill server meter and spawn boss
- Fight Mokotua boss for huge XP drops
- Server hop after every kill to farm fast
Key Mechanics to Understand
- Stats: STR for melee, INT for magic, DEX for speed and crit. Avoid VIT early on.
