Mecha Break looks like a game that could be fun if it included a co-op experience. Operating a mech and fighting opponents alongside a buddy is still a dream for many gamers. But does Mecha Break offer this liberty to pilot a big machine and enjoy a co-op session with somebody online? The answer is yes!

Additionally, there is more than just one mode to play online with others.

War mechs have always been popular in fiction thanks to the power fantasy that they appeal to. There is something about getting in a giant metal suit loaded with weapons and taking out your opponents that doesn’t get tiring. Unfortunately, there are not many co-op games that bring this to life. Mecha Break, however, is an exception.

There are three major “co-op” modes in the game at launch. These are as follows: Ace Arena (3v3), Operation VERGE (6v6), and Operation STORM (PvPvE). The first two modes are PvP, while the last is PvPvE. The game doesn’t have the typical co-op campaigns that you might have expected, but the multiplayer aspects that we mentioned can still be considered co-op. We say so because PvP modes require you to coordinate and cooperate with your teammates to secure a victory. Not to forget that PvPvE is just a vast extension of the same.

Regardless of how you create your character in the game, you will have to choose your mech from the following classes: assault, melee, sniper, reconnaissance, or support. All of these are available to play in all multiplayer modes. Since Mecha Break is a free-to-play online game, players can expect new co-op features in the future if the community is supportive enough.

The PvP modes, whether 3v3 or 6v6, will be a deathmatch. There will be two teams with three to six members in each. Each team must score the most kills. The PvPvE mode, however, will take place on Mashmak Islands and will have an extraction mode. You must seize supplies while also controlling different areas and eliminating threats.
