How To Get Bloodlit Mutation: Blood Moon Weather Event
As mentioned, the Bloodlit mutation is one of the few ones that went from being a limited-time mutation to a normal one, as it is weather-based. Currently, your crops can only obtain the mutation during the Bloodmoon weather event. There are no special pets or mutation sprayers you can use to apply Bloodlit. However, that may change in the coming updates. You can use pets like the Spinosaurus to spread the mutation if you already have it in your garden.
The Blood Moon weather event is a special one that was added to Grow a Garden a few months ago. When it occurs, crops in your garden have a chance to get the Bloodlit mutation. Here is a breakdown of the event to help you better understand how to get the mutation:
- For every Night event, Blood Moon has a one in three chance to appear. Night events appear every four hours and trigger six times a day, and remain active for ten minutes.
- Once triggered, the sky will turn red and the blood moon will rise in the sky.
- During the Blood Moon event, six random crops will gain the Bloodlit mutation.
- You can increase this by placing the Night Staff. Depending on the charge of the Night Staff, more fruits will gain the Bloodlit mutation.
