How To Apply Afflictions in Killing Floor 3

You can apply Afflictions by using Specialist abilities. However, keep in mind that not every ability has an Affliction effect. Alternatively, you can also use weapon mods to switch ammo types. These ammunitions can add Affliction effects to your weapons.
Keep in mind that some enemies are either immune or vulnerable to certain Afflictions. For example, bosses like the Bloat and Scrake are weak to Cut damage. This means that Specialists like the Ninja or bladed weapons can easily deal large amounts of damage to these targets. This is also why you usually want to knife enemies in early waves, as they are vulnerable to Cut damage. It also saves you a bit of Dosh, so you don’t have to refill ammo.
Knowing the strengths and weaknesses of your targets can help you decide which type of Affliction to use in each run.
