Supervive: How Basecamps Work

Basecamps in Supervive act as recovery stations for your team, offering healing, vision, and equipment shopping services.

Basecamps are sanctuaries in Supervive that serve as players’ home bases, providing relatively safe havens to recover. Players have to first claim a Basecamp before they can use all its services. Standing at the central dias of the camp slowly captures it and provides 25 XP to all allies within the radius. Camps belonging to other players can also be captured in the same manner. This article explores all the functions of Basecamps and their services.

Standing on the central dias of a Basecamp replenishes health and mana for the team who owns it. Basecamps also provide vision in a large area around them and notify the owning team if enemies enter the vision range. You can then return to the Basecamp in order to defend it or ambush the intruders. Recall to your Basecamp by holding “B” for four seconds. If you take damage while channeling, the recall will be canceled.

Shop

The Shop is where you can spend gold to buy equipment items you have unlocked. Equipment items include Grips, Kicks, and Relics. To unlock them, head to the Armory from the main menu and spend Prisma on the items you want.

Buy one item for each equipment slot from the shop as soon as the match begins. Grips and Kicks provide boosts to various stats, and choosing which one to buy depends on your character and build. In general, increased damage and movement speed are safe bets.

Packup Station

The holographic cube on the south side of the camp is the Packup Station. Approach it and use the interact key (E) to pack up the camp and carry it as an item (Basecamp Deployment Beacon) in your inventory for 800 gold. You can then place the camp down anywhere, preferably somewhere to gain a strategic foothold on the map. Be careful not to stand where the Basecamp is landing. The camp’s packing and unpacking process can be repeated as many times as needed

Empty Slot

If you’re puzzled about the empty slot on the right side of the Basecamp, this spot was formerly taken by the Anvil in Beta. Sporting a green shield symbol on it, the Anvil used to allow players to repair their armor by spending gold. However, the Anvil was patched out of Supervive with the game’s full release.
