The goal is to find a merchant named Jubilana and help them return to the village. A perk you get for completing this wish is access to what Jubilana is selling. This NPC sells items like the Simple Key, which are required to make progress in the game.

How To Complete Wandering Merchant Wish in Hollow Knight Silksong

Accept the Quest

First, you need to reach Songclave in The Citadel. There, find a wish board where you will see the Wandering Merchant Wayfarer Wish. Promise to complete this wish and then begin searching for Jubilana.

Head to the Choral Chambers

According to the information on the wish board, Jubilana was last seen in the Choral Chambers. The fastest way to get there is by running straight to the left from the wish board. Keep moving left through the steam traps until you reach the door leading to your target destination.

Once you arrive, head straight down and hit the lever to activate the spinning mechanism beside it. Wait for it to open the hatch and drop down. Continue moving deeper into the underground passage. When you reach a wide open area, keep dropping down on the left side while avoiding enemies and spikes. Enter the first passage you see to your left, the one with a firefly lantern hanging above it.

Track the Merchant

In this area, you can find various items on the floor that you can interact with to track the missing merchant. The first one is only a few steps from the entrance. You will see a faint trail you can follow, leading to where the merchant is. The second clue is on a platform above. Afterward, keep moving to the next room.

At the entrance, wall climb your way up to the platform, where you will spot another pile of items to track the merchant. Keep following the trail. Alternatively, there is a nearby bench you can use to save your progress or as a checkpoint. Keep in mind that you will lose the trail if you sit on the bench.

Save Jubilana

The trail will eventually lead you to another area with enemies patrolling. You must defeat them before the merchant appears. Once the area is clear, Jubilana will emerge from the background. Interact with them, and the quest will be completed.

When you return to Songclave, you will find Jubilana beside the wish board. This NPC will now act as a merchant where you can buy items. Here is a quick rundown of the items they sell:
