Towards the later parts of Hollow Knight Silksong, you can unlock a special Rosary Cannon for Hornet. This is essentially a gatling gun that fires a constant volley of rosaries in the direction that you are aiming. While this weapon does deal impressive damage, it also uses up your Rosary as ammunition. If you are not actively farming, you might be in trouble while unlocking Benches or Bell Stations.
You will find the Rosary Cannon in the High Halls region of Hollow Knight Silksong. You will need to do a significant amount of parkour that heavily relies on the Clawline ability. In this article, we will explain how you can get the Rosary Cannon in Hollow Knight Silksong and have Hornet use a gatling gun.
Where To Find The Rosary Canon In Hollow Knight Silksong
As mentioned earlier, you will find the Rosary Canon behind a locked door in the High Halls region of Hollow Knight Silksong. Head to the location shown on the map, and use a Simple Key to unlock the door. Once inside, keep following the path and descending further till you reach the bottom-most section.
To successfully make it to this area, you will have to heavily rely on your Drfiters Cloak and Clawline abilities. Without either of these, it will be impossible to reach this area. In the final section, you will have to use a lever to get inside a small room. Here, break another lever on the top, and it will drop the Rosary Cannon. Once you pick it up, make your way back to any of the Benches, and you can equip the Rosary Cannon on a red slot on any Crest.
What Does The Rosary Cannon Do in Hollow Knight Silksong?
The Rosary Cannon functions like a gatling gun or a minigun in Hollow Knight Silksong. When you use it, Hornet uses Rosaries as ammunition, and it fires them with great precision and speed in the direction that you are aiming. While this does an impressive amount of damage, its major downside is that it uses up your Rosaries.
Moreover, you will have to manually reload the Rosaries from any Bench once they are expended. On the slightly positive side, any Rosary that does not hit the enemy can be picked up by walking over those.
