NBA 2K25 brings a new season of progression, and the REP Rewards include free packs, skill boosts, Cap Breakers, and more.
The REP System in NBA 2K25 encourages you to keep playing as many games as possible. The more you play, the more REP Rewards you’ll get, as you keep leveling up from Rookie to Veteran. There are a total of 20 levels to climb, and with each level, the rewards just keep getting better.
In this article, we’ve explained some key points of the REP System in NBA 2K25, along with the rewards you get at every level.
REP System in NBA 2K25 Explained
The year-long REP system in NBA 2K25 is split into four categories, each with five tiers. This means there are five tiers each in the Rookie, Starter, Veteran, and Legend categories. At each tier, you’ll unlock rewards such as the new Cap Breakers, Skill and Gatorade Boosts, Animations, customization options, Virtual Currency, and so on.
If you’re new to NBA 2K25, note that REP Rewards are part of The City. There are two affiliations you can pick here — RISE, led by ShakeDown, or ELITE, led by LD2K. The rewards are basically the same for either affiliation, except for a Player Banner that you get early on during your progression.
You can start climbing the Top 10 leaderboard once you get to Legend I. Rewards associated with being in the top 10 are updated every day. There’s even an exclusive reward for the first 100 players on each platform to reach Legend IV. This is, however, restricted to the Next-Gen versions (PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5). These players will get a free digital copy of NBA 2K25.
At the end of the Boulevard of the Stars, the first players to reach Legend in each year between NBA 2K15 and NBA 2K24 have been memorialized.
