The False Flag mission requires you to infiltrate an Imperial ship to steal data, and you can choose to frame the Crimson Dawn or the Pykes.
The world of Star Wars is filled with crooked factions jumping at every chance to one-up each other through betrayal and deceit. A prime example of this is in the Star Wars Outlaws False Flag mission, where Kay is given the opportunity to frame either the Crimson Dawn or the Pyke.
In this guide, we shall go over the False Flag mission and its choices and outcomes.
How to Complete the Star Wars Outlaws False Flag mission
Eleera of the Crimson Dawn assigns the mission to Kay at the Jaunta’s Hope landing pad. In this mission, you have to infiltrate an imperial ship and delete some data to frame the Pyke. Once the mission is received, take off to the Toshara orbit with Waka and head in the direction of the yellow objective marker. Your objective is to retrieve the cargo of sansanna. This cargo will help you sneak into the ship.
On the Imperial Ship
Now, you will have to make your way to the Imperial fuel station. The objective marker will point you in its direction. Dock into the ship’s bay and talk to Waka. Now turn around and open the door behind. Drop down the ladder to enter the bay. Work your way to centre of the way past the guards to a ship being fixed. Near the ship is a moving platform that you can activate. Use the platform as cover and move along with it to get to a vault.
In the vault, you will see a blue lamp on the right. Next to it is a vent; enter the vent. Out of the vents, take the lift in front of you to go to the floor above. You will enter a corridor guarded by a Stormtrooper. Knock him out, and enter the room on the left to find the terminal. Clear the terminal and use it to find the Data Vault.
To The Maintenance Bay
Exit the terminal room from the left and take the ladder above. Follow the path straight to the yellow objective marker. You will have to sneak past guards while doing so. Use Nix to your advantage whenever necessary. The marker will lead you to a door and a ladder. Drop down the ladder and into the vent below. You will land on a conveyor belt near which is a lock. Override the lock with a data spike and enter the vents.
Climb up the ladder ahead and into a smoky room. Drop down from the platform. You will see a group of Stormtroopers ahead of you. Take the left before them and towards a door. Override the lock on the door and enter. Follow the path straight to an energy barrier. The switch is right in front. Use Nix to disable the barrier. Knock out the officer ahead and access the computer to disable the energy barrier of the Maintenance Bay.
The Maintenance Bay and the Data Vault
In the maintenance bay, platform your way across the gaps using the grapple hook. Watch out for the sentry patrolling on the right and time your jumps to evade its line of sight. At the end of the platform is a gap. Scale the gap and you can jump onto a railing. Parkour down the railing and knock out the Stormtrooper below. Use a data spike to pass the door ahead and you will enter the Data Vault. A cutscene will trigger and you will have the choice to either frame Crimson Dawn or the Pykes.
Star Wars Outlaws False Flag Choices
You now have the option to frame the Crimson Dawn or the Pykes. The choice won’t affect the outcome of the story but will impact the way these syndicates view and interact with Kay.
Frame the Pykes
If you follow through with the mission given to you by Eleera and frame the Pykes, your reputation with the Crimson Dawn will improve. Naturally, your reputation with the Pykes will worsen.
Frame the Crimson Dawn
If you choose to double-cross the Crimson Dawn, your reputation with them will take a hit. The Pykes, however, will be grateful and your reputation with them will increase.
There are no tangible rewards for either of these choices, so picking a side is strictly a matter of personal preference.
